Couples Care
Live-in care for couples in Oxfordshire
Support for both partners from a single carer, so nobody has to move out.
After decades together, the prospect of being separated by care needs is distressing. Yet one partner caring for the other can quickly become unsustainable.
With couples care, one carer supports you both - even when your needs are very different - in the home you share.

Is this right for you?
Families usually get in touch when:
- Looking after your partner is wearing you down
- Both of you need some help each day
- Staying together matters more than anything
What help looks like
- Individual care
- Personal care and medicines tailored to each person
- Household
- Meals for two, laundry and housework
- Breathing space
- Time off for the partner who has been caring
- Shared time
- Outings and evenings to enjoy together
Getting started
- 01
Two assessments
We look at each partner's needs separately.

We combine them into a single, workable routine.
- 03
One carer
We introduce someone suited to you both.
The Oxfordshire picture
If you approach Oxfordshire County Council, each partner is entitled to their own needs assessment and financial assessment, and a caring partner can request a carer's assessment.
