Arranging care
Either telephone 01865 538222 or complete the Find a Carer form; a conversation follows, then a free visit to the home wherever it is in the county.
The whole county - Oxford, the market towns from Banbury to Henley, and the villages of the Cotswolds, Chilterns and Vale of White Horse.
Urgent situations can often be covered within a few days of assessment; planned arrangements typically take one to two weeks.
Carers
Identity and right-to-work checks, references and a DBS check, followed by an interview about their experience.
You do. We introduce candidates who suit your needs and personality, and if the relationship isn't right later, we'll introduce someone else.
Fees and funding
Standard care is £1,200 per week, Specialist care £1,300 and Advanced care with two carers £2,600. We confirm the right package after an assessment.
If you're eligible and your capital is below £23,250, the council may contribute. Your home is disregarded when care is provided there.
When care is driven mainly by health needs, Continuing Healthcare can meet the whole cost - the NHS decides who qualifies.
